Below are some projects I've worked on for Game Jams. These are all smaller team projects.

48-Hour Game Jam

Theme: 'Make Me Laugh'

Adam has been turned into a ball and keeps rolling faster. If you collect magic beans and survive for long enough, maybe you can turn him back? Created for the Global Games Jam 2024.

  • Building and iterating upon a playable level in a short time.​

  • Programming the entirety of the project.

  • Completing the project in a short time-frame

A rock-paper-scissors rhythm-fight, where the fans instruct the fighters on how to win! Help your fighter deal as much damage by instructing them to when punch, kick and block. Created for the GMTK Game Jam 2023.

Crowd Coach

24-Hour Game Jam

Theme: Roles Reversed

Responsibilities:

Game Design​​​

  • Designed the core concept of fighters battling as a rhythm game, and the intuitive rock-paper-scissors style of combat.

  • Fast iteration and implementation of game mechanics.

Art & Sound

  • Created all visual assets, using Aseprite and Photoshop to form the pixel-art aesthetic.

  • Created all audio assets, using Bosca Ceoil, a simple loop tool for chiptune/midi sound.

2006 Simulator

6-Hour Game Jam

Theme: Clicker Games

Responsibilities:

Game Design​​​

  • Designed the core concept of a clicker game that uses a bouncing DVD logo as its target.

  • Designed the player progression, as they unlock bonuses to gain points faster.

Programming

  • Programming entirety of  the project.
